Jerry Newman has been appointed chief marketing officer at Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League), he announced on the LinkedIn platform on 03/03/2026.

In this role, he will "oversee the club’s marketing, media, communications, ticketing and fan engagement functions, with responsibility for strengthening brand positioning, deepening supporter connection, audience development and driving sustainable commercial growth across all touchpoints."

Jerry Newman previously served as chief digital and innovation officer at Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) from September 2023 to February 2026. He also spent over seven years at Meta (2016-2023), including as director of sports partnership EMEA. His appointment at Brighton & Hove Albion FC marks his return to the Premier League, where he held various positions at Chelsea FC (between 2008 and 2016), including that of head of digital marketing and CRM.
