Lega Serie A: a football pitch inaugurated in Milan (ITA) as part of EA Sports' FC Futures programme

Lega Serie A and its partner EA Sports have inaugurated a community football pitch in Milan (ITA) as part of the American video game publisher's "FC Futures" programme, announced the two organisations on 03/03/2026.

"Designed to provide a safe and inclusive space, the pitch aims to increase participation, strengthen local communities and inspire a new generation of fans," according to the Lega Serie A. This is the 21^st pitch to be inaugurated as part of the FC Futures initiative, a programme launched by EA Sports in April 2023 with the aim of making "significant investments in community football." The facility was unveiled during an event in the presence of Italian player Moise Kean (ACF Fiorentina), who is also one of the artists featured on the EA Sports FC 26 soundtrack, and attended by UEFA-certified coaches, who led training sessions "that integrated FC 26 gameplay mechanics with real-life exercises."
