RB Leipzig: a post-season tour in Johannesburg from 26 to 30/05/2026, the first in South Africa

RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) will organise its first post-season tour to South Africa, in Johannesburg, from 26 to 30/05/2026, announced the club on 09/03/2026. The tour is called "RE KAOFELA" in the Sesotho language ("All together" in English).

The German club will play a friendly game against Mamelodi Sundowns (South African D1) on 29/05 (20:00 local time) at the Lucas Moripe Stadium (28,900 capacity) in Pretoria, a match broadcast on SABC 3, the Bundesliga's regional media partner. The dedicated ticketing platform will open on 24/04.

RB Leipzig, which organised its first two international tours to the United States in 2024 and then to Brazil in 2025, is also planning "numerous activations and activities" in South Africa with its partners Red Bull (energy drinks, owner of the club), Puma (equipment manufacturer) and Tudor (watchmaker, Rolex).
