"Strengthen international coordination in the fight against doping in football ahead of the 2026 World Cup". This is the objective of the two-day seminar organised by FIFA and the six confederations (Concacaf, CONMEBOL, UEFA, AFC, CAF and OFC) in Miami (Florida, United States) on 05-06/03/2026.

"This meeting, organised at the FIFA Americas office, brought together the heads and legal directors of the anti-doping units from the six confederations in order to strengthen collaboration and align preparations for the upcoming international football cycle and the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code (WADA Code)," explained the international federation.

The seminar focused on two main areas:
• strengthening global efforts to combat doping in football;
• reinforcing football’s united front in coordinating its anti-doping activities and defending its interests.

"FIFA and the confederations also reaffirmed their shared commitment to protecting the integrity of the game through enhanced cooperation, mutual support and, above all, coordinated action," added the governing body.
