City Football Group: a turnover of £888m (-5%) & a net loss increased to £291.1m in 2024-25

City Football Group (CFG), a holding company investing in football assets (professional clubs, infrastructure, innovation), has posted revenues of £888m (€1.039bn at 30/06/2025) for the financial year 2025, from 01/07/2024 to 30/06/2025, down 5% on 2023-24 (£933.1m / €1.101bn), according to the annual accounts published by the owner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 06/03/2026.

78% of these revenues (£694.1m/€790.9m) came from the English club's business, in which CFG has a 100% stake. Among the other main clubs in which the Group is a majority shareholder:
• New York City FC (MLS): revenues of £57.6m in 2024-25 (€67.4m, 6.5% of the group's total revenues);
• Esporte Clube Bahia (Brazilian D1): £38.4m (€45m, 4.3%);
• Palermo FC (Serie BKT): £20.1m (€23.5m, 2.2%);
• ESTAC Troyes (Ligue 2 BKT): £7.9m (€9.3m, 0.9%).

City Football Group's net loss has risen sharply to £291.1m (€340.6m), compared with a deficit of £91.9m (€108.4m) in 2023-24. The Group had 2,647 employees at 30/06/2025, compared with 2,460 a year earlier.
