FC Barcelona: City Council authorises Spotify Camp Nou capacity increase to 62,652 seats

Barcelona City Council (Catalonia, ESP) has granted FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) authorisation to increase the capacity of Spotify Camp Nou to 62,652 seats from the home match against Sevilla FC on 15/03, announced the club on 10/03/2026.

Barça, which had played the entirety of the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc (Barcelona) due to renovation and expansion works at Spotify Camp Nou (capacity increased from 99,354 to 105,000 seats), returned to its stadium after 909 days on 22/11/2025, in a configuration limited to 45,200 spectators.

This authorisation from the City Council mainly concerns the new Gol 1957 stand, dedicated to "supporters who will strengthen the atmosphere", as well as several VIP areas. Season passes valid until the end of the season are offered to fans at prices ranging from €140 to €231 depending on the chosen location and the number of matches remaining at the time of purchase.
