Spain: standardised total revenue of €5.464bn for LALIGA's 42 clubs in 2024-25 (+8.1%)

The "standardised total revenue" of the 42 clubs in LALIGA (the 20 clubs in LALIGA EA Sports & 22 in LALIGA Hypermotion) reached €5.464bn in 2024-25, up 8.1% on the previous financial year (€5.049bn), according to the Spanish Professional Football League, which presented its annual Economic and Financial Report for the 2024-25 season on 18/03/2026.

While the 2022-23 financial year saw the clubs post total revenues of €5.7bn, including exceptional income linked to the LALIGA Impulso plan resulting from the agreement between LALIGA and CVC (compared with €5.124bn in 2023-24), this is their best financial year excluding exceptional revenue.

For the first time, commercial revenues were the main source of income for the clubs (€1.584bn, 29% of the total), ahead of TV rights (€1.576bn, 28.9%) and matchday revenues, which stood at €902m (16.5%).

Among the other figures highlighted by LALIGA:
• clubs' sports wage bills were up by 0.8% to €2.936bn;
• the clubs posted an EBITDA of €667m (compared with €422.1m a year earlier, +57.8%);
