Olympique de Marseille: agreement reached on the terms of Pablo Longoria's departure

The American group McCourt Global, owner of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's), and Pablo Longoria, president of OM since February 2021, "have reached an agreement on the terms of his departure," announced the club on 23/03/2026.

"OM would like to acknowledge Pablo Longoria’s commitment, passion and the work accomplished over the past six years in service of the club. The club extends its most sincere wishes for success in the next chapter of his career. Pablo Longoria thanks Olympique de Marseille for the trust placed in him during these six seasons and expresses his deep gratitude to all the staff, players and supporters who were part of this journey," said the club.

Alban Juster, general manager finance & compliance officer, was promoted to president of the management board on 28/02/2026. This interim arrangement was decided on eleven days after all sporting activities until the end of the 2025-26 season were entrusted to Mehdi Benatia, whose extended remit, announced on 17/02/2026, limited Pablo Longoria's responsibilities to institutional relations alone.
