Premier League: €2.2bn of TV and commercial revenues paid to clubs in 2014-15 (Chelsea: €135bn)

The Premier League has distributed £1,605.2m (€2,198.2m ion 03/06/2015) in audiovisual and commercial revenues to the 20 clubs that participated in the 2014-15 championship, stated the English top division on 02/06/2015. This amount is an increase of 2.7% compared to 2013-14 (£1,563m / €1.914bn on 15/05/2014). The Premier League distributed £972m (€1.13bn at the time) to participating clubs in 2012-13, before the entry into force of the 2013-2016 TV rights cycle (€2.2bn per season).

Each Premier League club receives an average of £80.2m, about €110m. Chelsea FC, the league champions in 2014-15, also receive the highest income in audiovisual and commercial rights, with around £99m (€135.6m), ahead of Manchester City FC (£98.5m, €134.9m), the runner up in the league. Manchester United FC (£96.8m, €132.5m), who came fourth in the Premier League, received more than third-placed Arsenal FC (£96.5m, €132.2m) due to more live broadcasts on Sky Sports and BT Sport (27 against 25).
