FIFA: 5^th edition of the executive programme in sports arbitration focused on CAS procedures

FIFA have launched the fifth edition of its executive programme in sports arbitration, which provides participants with a theoretical and practical guide to proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the body announced on 23/03/2026.

Aimed at in-house legal counsel at the six confederations (UEFA, CAF, AFC, CONMEBOL, Concacaf and OFC), FIFA’s 211 member associations, clubs, leagues and player unions, as well as lawyers specialising in sports law, the programme draws on FIFA’s extensive experience of CAS cases.

"The programme offers a practical, tailored learning method, backed by theory and research, focusing on proceedings before CAS as well as arbitration models within other sports organisations. It consists of three modules of four days each, which will take place in Miami (USA), Buenos Aires (ARG) and Zurich (SUI) between October 2026 and April 2027", said FIFA.

Applications for the programme are open until 17/05/2026.
