adidas will cease to be the kit supplier to Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) at the end of the 2015-16 season, announced a spokesman of the group on 03/06/2015. The brand has equipped the club since the 1960s.

"I am not at all worried. Bayer Leverkusen is very attractive to kit suppliers. We will offer our fans something satisfying," said Michael Schade, the CEO of the club, on 03/06/2015. The contract between adidas and Bayer Leverkusen is estimated at between €2m and €2.5m per year. The German group equipped three other Bundesliga clubs in 2014-15: FC Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04 and Hamburger SV.

adidas extended its contract to supply FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) until 2030 on 28/04/2015. The current contract was due to expire at the end of the 2019-20 season.

The new contract is estimated at €900m, or €60m per season for the 2015-16 to 2029-30 period, according to the German magazine Focus on 28/04/2015. This amount would be triple the previous agreement, valued at between €20m and €25m for the 2014-15…
