A total of 69,313 spectators attended the six fixtures of Matchday 19 (out of 22) of the 2025-26 Arkema Première Ligue season, held on 28/03/2026, representing an average attendance of 11,552 per match. This is the highest cumulative attendance for a matchday in the French women’s top flight.

This record was achieved as part of the "Au stade pour elles" initiative launched by the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel, under which all fixtures were played in large-capacity stadiums during the men’s international window.

More than half of the total attendance was driven by Olympique de Marseille’s women’s team (”Les Marseillaises”) first-ever match at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity), which drew 35,713 spectators against Montpellier HSCF (1-2). The club offered free tickets for the match, alongside premium tickets (from €25) and hospitality packages (from €120).

Olympique de Marseille’s women’s team therefore set a new attendance record for a match in the French women’s top division, surpassing the previous mark of 30,661 spectators recorded on 16/11/2019 at Groupama Stadium…
