Bundesliga: AB InBev to replace Bitburger as official beer partner of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (2026-2031)

Belgian brewer AB InBev is to become the "official beer partner" of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) for five seasons (2026-2031), the club announced on 31/03/2026.

As part of this partnership, the group will primarily promote its Anheuser Busch brand, as well as its German brands Beck's and Spaten Hell. "From next summer, the Anheuser-Busch Bud brand will also be very prominently displayed at the BayArena as part of the agreed co-operation: Bayer 04 will present and serve the top product of its new global beer partner on static boards, on LED boards, at kiosks and also in the north-east beer garden. AB InBev will also have hospitality allocation at the Leverkusen stadium and will also appear in various joint promotional campaigns," the club said.

The Belgian company replaces its German counterpart Bitburger, which has been Leverkusen's official beer partner since the 1995-96 season. This was the longest sponsorship agreement in the club's history.
