Sponsorship: LALIGA, 1^st European league to partner with Polymarket (prediction) in the US and Canada

LALIGA has become the first European sports league to partner with Polymarket, a blockchain-based prediction platform that allows users to bet on future events, on 02/04/2026. This multi-year agreement covers the United States and Canada.

Under this partnership, Polymarket will benefit from premium broadcast visibility, deploy "fan-focused digital and social programming" and offer money can't buy experiences (VIP match tickets, virtual meet-and-greets with LALIGA players). "Polymarket will also receive exclusive rights to use LALIGA and club intellectual property in connection with LALIGA matches," the body said.

This agreement further strengthens LALIGA’s commercial strategy in North America. The body launched a joint venture with Relevent Sports Group in 2018 to promote football in the United States and Canada, and has several regional partners in the region (with Walmart, Lowe’s, McDonald’s, Verizon, Remitly and Panini).
