• Jürgen Eissmann has been appointed CEO of DFB Euro GmbH, the company responsible for organising the Women's Euro 2029.
• "Euro 2032 is scheduled (in Italy and Turkey) and will take place, of that there is no doubt. I just hope that the infrastructure (in Italy) will be ready. If that’s not the case, the tournament will not be held in Italy. Maybe Italy’s politicians should ask themselves why the football infrastructure is among the worst in Europe," Aleksander Ceferin, president of UEFA, said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
• Chelsea FC (Premier League) posted revenues of £490.9m (€574.5m) for the 2024-25 financial year, and a pre-tax loss of £262.4m (€307m).
• Knox Hydrate, an isotonic drinks brand, has acquired the naming rights to Newcastle United FC’s (Premier League) training centre. From 01/07/2026, the site will be known as "The Knox".
• The British free-to-air TV group ITV, which holds the broadcasting rights to the 2026 World Cup in the UK (shared with the BBC), will not show adverts during hydration breaks.
