BasicNet (Kappa): stable turnover of €415.8m in 2025, €47.3m in sponsorship and media spend

BasicNet, an Italian distributor and parent company of equipment manufacturer Kappa, has recorded revenues of €415.75m for the 2025 financial year (01/01 to 31/12/2025), up 1.6% on 2024 (€409.16m), the group announced upon publication of its preliminary results on 26/03/2026.

• The group's direct sales amounted to €348.2m (+0.4% vs 2024), or 83.7% of total sales, while royalties from licensed distributors (€66.4m; +16%) accounted for over 16%.
• The group’s EBITDA fell to €29.3m, down 52% from the record €61.1m posted in 2024, "reflecting the stepping up of investments in sponsorships, communication and human resources, supporting the group's brands development and enhancement initiatives."
• Net profit is down 20.7%, from €25.3m in 2024 to €20m in 2025.
• The company's net debt fell by €16.4m to €74.4m (€90.8m in 2024), "mainly due to the sale of the investment in K-Way (waterproof clothing) whose benefits were partly absorbed by the financial debt taken on by the group following the acquisition of the investments in Woolrich Europe (luxury outdoor brand) and Sundek (beachwear)."
