LALIGA: Prasanna Kumar Ballepalli (ex-Deloitte) appointed director of technology, innovation and AI

Prasanna Kumar Ballepalli has been appointed director of technology, innovation and AI at LALIGA. He has held this position since March 2026, according to LALIGA's website.

He is responsible for "leading the organisation's global technology strategy and the integration of artificial intelligence, the development of advanced technology platforms and the digital transformation of the LALIGA ecosystem at international level," the Spanish League said.

Prasanna Kumar Ballepalli "has more than 15 years of international experience in systems architecture, artificial intelligence and engineering leadership, having developed and led global teams in Europe, Asia and America," LALIGA added.

Prior to joining LALIGA, he held the position of "AI engineering leader & chief architect at Deloitte Spain, where he created and developed the artificial intelligence and generative AI practice for large organisations, particularly in the banking and public sectors."
