2014-15 Champions League final: Barcelona are financially much stronger than Juventus

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) are much stronger than Juventus (Serie A TIM) in financial terms, as the turnover for the Catalan club in 2013-14 (last known) was €530m, compared to €315.8m for the Italian club. The 2014-15 Champions League final will see the two clubs face off for the title at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (GER) on Saturday, 06/06/2015 at 20:45 CET.

Barcelona generated €200m more in revenue than the Italian champions in the 2013-14 season. Barça is also ahead on social networks with a global community of fans totalling 112.5 million, compared to 21.5 million for Juve on the four main social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube).

Regardless of the outcome of the final, Juventus will receive more financial gains from UEFA Union of European Football Associations

• FC Barcelona and Juventus will, respectively, receive at least €32.4m and €30.9m in performance-based income (€8.6m as a fixed premium for their participation + bonuses linked to sporting results) from UEFA from their participation in the Champions League.
