Ligue 1: €81.7m in net profit for LOSC Lille & a €208.5m net loss for Olympique Lyonnais in 2024-25

Seven Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted a net profit for the 2024-25 season, with LOSC Lille posting the highest net result at €81.7m, while 11 others reported net losses, including Olympique Lyonnais with the largest net deficit at €208.5m, according to the DNCG report dedicated to the individual accounts of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs published by the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 08/04/2026.

The 18 top-flight clubs posted cumulative revenues (excluding transfers) of €2.161bn, with an average of €120m in turnover, ranging from €20.6m for Angers SCO to €837m for Paris Saint-Germain.

The cumulative operating result (excluding transfers) of the 18 clubs stood at -€1.031bn. After transfers, the total net loss amounted to €466.1m.

The total wage bill of the 18 clubs reached €1.725bn for the 2024-25 season, an average of €95.8m. 31% of the total wage bill was borne by Paris Saint-Germain alone (€535m), 3.4 times more than the second-highest-paid team (Olympique Lyonnais, €155m), while Angers SCO had the lowest wage bill (€27.1m).
