UEFA: exclusive negotiations with Nike for official match balls of men’s club competitions (2027-2031)

Nike has entered into exclusive negotiations with UC3 to become the official match ball supplier for UEFA men’s club competitions for the 2027-2031 cycle (four seasons), the joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC) announced on 09/04/2026.

Regarding the Champions League, the American group could replace German equipment manufacturer adidas, a long-standing partner of the competition since the 2000-01 season until the end of the 2026-27 season. For the Europa League and the Conference League, Nike would take over from Kipsta (Decathlon), which supplies match balls for both competitions in the 2024-2027 cycle.

"No further comment will be made" during this exclusive negotiation period, UC3 said. The tender process was launched in March 2026 and managed by Relevent Football Partners.
