Discovery: launch of a new version of the paying service Eurosport Player on 10/06/2015

The US broadcaster Discovery Communications, the owner of the Eurosport pay-TV channels, will launch a new version of Eurosport Player, the paying service that gives access to live streams of the Eurosport channels, with bonus content and second-screen experiences, on 10/06/2015. This new version is presented as a more "immersive" and "linear" experience through the simulcast of Eurosport in full screen, the improvement of content (statistics, summaries) and the choice of camera angles. The new version will be launched from the start of the 2015 edition of the car race 24 Hours of Le Mans (13 and 14/06/2015). The service is available in 52 markets.

Discovery Communications also announced a European expansion of Dplay, its "premium" video streaming service distributed through OTT through beta versions available in Italy, Sweden and Denmark, before a launch in other markets in the course of 2015, on 04/06/2015.
