FIFA: a 38-stop nationwide tour launched in Canada to foster engagement around the 2026 World Cup

FIFA has unveiled the route for its "Canada Celebrates" nationwide programme aimed at fostering fan engagement around the 2026 World Cup beyond the two Canadian host cities, Toronto and Vancouver, on 08/04/2026.

The 38-stop initiative "will bring football fans together for live match viewings, football-themed activations, cultural programming, music, food, and moments of national pride," FIFA said. The programme will be rolled out during the competition (from 11/06 to 19/07) "with pre-tournament stops on 01 and 05/06 respectively, along with supporting stops for the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola" (which will visit 7 Canadian cities between 09/04 and 26/05/2026).

The number and location of the stops ensure that over 75% of Canadian residents will be able to participate within a two-hour drive.
