Cycling: Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France in Barcelona (04/07) promoted during Barça-RCD Espanyol

The Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France, to be held in Barcelona (Catalonia, ESP) on 04/07, was promoted during the derby between FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol (4-1), as part of Matchday 31 of LALIGA EA Sports 2025-26, on 11/04/2026.

Before kick-off at Spotify Camp Nou, in front of 60,736 spectators, both teams posed with a placard promoting the event, while club officials were also pictured alongside the yellow jersey and the official poster of the 113^th edition of the race, which is scheduled to finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 26/07.

The Catalan city will host the first three stages: the opening stage will start there, the second stage (starting in Tarragona) will finish in Barcelona, while the third stage will depart from Granollers, a city located near Barcelona.

Vueling, a low-cost airline owned by International Airlines Group, became a partner of the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France on 26/03/2026. The airline notably unveiled an Airbus A320 featuring a dedicated livery for this 113^th edition of the Tour de France, with the slogan "The fastest stage between…
