FIFA/Women's World Cup 2027: free-to-air TV rights acquired by EBU for 18 European territories

The EBU has extended its partnership with FIFA and acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights to the Women's World Cup 2027 for 19 of its members in 18 European territories, the European Broadcasting Union announced on 13/04/2026.

The public broadcasters involved in this acquisition are: Cesky Rozhlas (Czech Republic), Ceská Televize (Czech Republic), DR (Denmark), MTVA (Hungary), NOS (Netherlands), NRK (Norway), PBS (Malta), RTBF (Belgium), RTVE (Spain), RTVS (Slovakia), RUV (Iceland), SR (Sweden), SRG SSR (Switzerland), Suspilne (Ukraine), TV2 (Norway), TV2 Danmark (Denmark), TVP (Poland), VRT (Belgium) and YLE (Finland).

They will each broadcast at least one fixture of the competition live every matchday. The EBU had already acquired the free-to-air media rights to the Women's World Cup 2023 in 34 European countries, and is also a partner of FIFA for the broadcasting of the 2026 and 2030 men's World Cups.
