Europa League: Discovery and Eurosport acquire the 2015-2018 rights in Scandinavia and Singapore

The US broadcaster Discovery Communications, the majority owner of the Eurosport pay-TV channels, acquired the 2015-2018 audiovisual rights to the Europa League for Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Singapore on 04/06/2015. The rights are valid for all distribution platforms.

During each week of competition, two matches will be broadcast live on Eurosport Danmark, Eurosport Norge and Eurosport 2 in Sweden. One or two matches will also be broadcast on other channels from the Discovery Group: Kanal 9 in Sweden, MAX Norway, and 6'eren and Canal 9 in Denmark. A total of 100 other matches will be broadcast live on Dplay, the video streaming platform of Discovery.

In Singapore, Eurosport will broadcast two matches during each week of competition, and all matches on its streaming platform Eurosport Player. Eurosport acquired the exclusive audiovisual rights to the 2015-2018 cycle of the Champions League for Singapore on 23/04/2015.
