Champions League: 39.1 million viewers in the Top 5 for the 2014-15 Juventus-Barcelona final

Juventus - FC Barcelona (1-3), the 2014-15 final of the Champions League (at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, GER), achieved the best audience in prime time in the television markets of the five countries of the European Top 5 leagues (Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy) on Saturday 06/06/2015 (kickoff at 20:45 CET). The final had a combined total of at least 39.16 million viewers on average in these five major European television markets.

In Italy, the free-TV channel Canale 5 (Mediaset group) drew 11.52 million viewers on average during the match, for an audience share of 46.73%. In Germany, the final attracted 9.72 million viewers on average to the public channel ZDF (audience share: 36.6%) and 400,000 subscribers to the pay-TV channel Sky Champions. In Spain, 6.74 million viewers watched the final on the public channel La 1 (audience share: 47.7%) and 299,000 subscribers watched on the pay-TV channel Canal+ Liga de Campeones (audience share: 2.1%).
