Serie A: Silvio Berlusconi negotiating sale of 48% of AC Milan to Bee Taechaubol (THA) for €470m

An exclusive negotiation has now been opened, for a period of eight weeks, between Fininvest, the holding company of Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of AC Milan (Serie A TIM) and the Thai investor Bee Taechaubol, with a view to the signing of a partnership regarding AC Milan, said the club in a statement dated 05/06/2015, at 23:55 CET.

"The draft agreement, which will be discussed in detail, would retain control of the club remains in the hands of the president Silvio Berlusconi and Fininvest, with an absolute majority of shares (52%). The consortium represented by Taechaubol will acquire a minority stake of 48%," added the statement. The amount of the agreement for the sale of 48% of AC Milan was €470m according to Italian media, which therefore values the club at approximately €1bn.
