FC Barcelona: an investment in tech company Drelife to launch a second-hand merchandising sales channel

The Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB), FC Barcelona's (LALIGA EA Sports) sports knowledge and innovation centre, has become an investor in sports technology company Drelife "to establish an official, verified, and club-operated second-life marketplace for authentic FC Barcelona jerseys," the club announced on 20/04/2026.

This operation also involves the Barça Licensing & Merchandising (BLM) subsidiary, which will provide its "global e-commerce operational capabilities" to launch the platform. "Its role in this project is decisive as it ensures that the second life channel is not an external platform but a natural extension of the official store, with all the associated standards of quality, authenticity and service. BLM’s involvement also ensures that the data generated by this new channel (collector behaviour, demand by shirt type, user profiles) returns to the club as a high-value strategic asset, with a direct impact on commercial decision-making and fan engagement," Barça said. Drelife, for its part, is specialised in circular economy solutions for the retail sector.
