Women's World Cup: "The highest level of broadcast coverage ever secured in Europe" for the 2027 edition

The FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 will benefit from "the highest level of broadcast coverage ever secured in Europe," the international federation announced on 21/04/2026.

The European Broadcasting Union has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights for the competition for 19 of its members in 18 European territories, while the Saran Media Group agency will be responsible for marketing the World Cup media rights in 24 European and Eurasian countries.

Various separate broadcasting agreements have been concluded by FIFA with M6 (France) as well as BBC and ITV (United Kingdom). "Negotiations are ongoing in a few remaining territories," the governing body added.
