FC Inter Milan: opening of a first academy in Malta in summer 2026

FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive) will open an academy in Marsa (Malta), its first in the country, in summer 2026, the club announced on 23/04/2026.

The academy will be based at the Marsa Sports Complex and "will gradually expand across the country, with the aim of sharing Inter’s football philosophy and values in a structured and widespread way". Activities "will begin this summer with a series of camps led by Inter Academy coaches from Milano" before the project "moves into full operation offering structured training sessions throughout the season for boys and girls aged 5 to 14."

The island also hosts, in Ta’ Xbiex, the headquarters of Betsson.Sport, an online sports platform owned by Swedish betting operator Betsson AB and the club’s main shirt sponsor until 2028.

FC Inter Milan has three Inter Clubs on the island, bringing together more than 2,000 members.

• FC Inter Milan also opened two academies in Australia in April 2026, in Sydney and Adelaide, and plans to open another one in Morelia (Mexico) in spring 2026.
