Investment: Gamma Waves Partners fund launched by A. Agnelli with G. Chiellini and R. Benetton

Andrea Agnelli, former chairman of Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive), has parterned with Italian entrepreneur Rocco Benetton (managing director of the Benetton Formula 1 Team from 1997 to 2001) and former professional footballer Giorgio Chiellini to launch the Gamma Waves Partners investment fund, the structure announced on 24/07/2026.

The fund plans to invest in "two complementary pillars: forward-looking competitions, franchises, clubs, teams, athletes or emerging formats, and growth-stage sports technology companies spanning fan engagement, data, performance analytics, AI-driven content and the connected athlete ecosystem."

Kyang Yung (who also holds various positions in several private equity firms) has been appointed chief investment officer of Gamma Waves Partners to drive the fund's investment strategy. "We’re already actively working on our first investment opportunities and engaging with partners across the global sports ecosystem," the newly created entity added.
