US Soccer: Oura (smart ring) "official wearable" of the US national teams to enhance sporting performance

Oura, a Finnish health technology company, has become an official sponsor of US Soccer under a "long-term partnership" beginning in 2026, the body announced on 22/04/2026. This announcement comes ahead of the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States (alongside Canada and Mexico).

As part of this agreement, the brand's Oura Ring, a smart ring that tracks sleep and physical activity, has become the "official wearable" of the US national teams, as well as a founding partner of the Arthur M. Blank US Soccer National Training Centre.

The US women's national team has been using Oura's technology since 2020. "As US Soccer continues to invest in high-performance infrastructure, the collaboration will now extend to the entire organisation, providing players, coaches, and staff with continuous biometric insights into recovery, readiness and overall wellbeing to guide daily training, optimize recovery, and sharpen competition preparation," the body said.
