Manchester City and Etihad launch "Global City" to meet fans from around the world

Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League) and Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and the shirt sponsor of the English club since 2009-10, launched the operation "Global City", the goal of which is to produce a series of five videos with supporters of the club around the world, on 30/05/2015.

Will Greenwood, the former England international rugby player and long-time Manchester City fan, will take a Etihad Airways plane to meet the club's fans in five cities around the world: Manchester (United Kingdom), Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) Jakarta (Indonesia), Melbourne (Australia) and New York (USA). The content will be available on the digital platforms of the club, as well as in Etihad Airways aircraft.

"City followers all over the world will relate to the personal stories of their fellow fans and how they celebrated the key moments in our history," said Diego Gigliani, media director and fan relations at Manchester City, on 30/05/2015.
