LFP: expanded partnership with Kipsta (Decathlon), which continues as official ball supplier (2027-2032)

Kipsta, the group's sports equipment brand of Decathlon, has prematurely extended its partnership with the Ligue de Football Professionnel to become a major partner for the 2027-2032 cycle (five seasons), the LFP announced on 29/04/2026.

The French brand has been the official match ball supplier of Ligue 1 McDonald’s, Ligue 2 BKT and the Trophée des Champions for the 2022-2027 cycle under an agreement announced on 21/04/2021. In addition to continuing to supply match balls for all of the league’s competitions, the expanded partnership will also see Kipsta become a major partner of the LFP from the 2027-28 season onwards. The body has indeed restructured its sponsorship hierarchy to create this second tier category, positioned between its competitions' title sponsors (McDonald’s and Balkrishna Industries Ltd.) and official partners, which also includes EssilorLuxottica (optics).

Over the 2027-2032 cycle, Kipsta will also benefit from increased visibility during Ligue 1 McDonald’s and Ligue 2 BKT matches, as well as across the competitions’ digital platforms (primarily Ligue 1+). "The…
