With a turnover of £691.5m (€820.9m as of 31/05/2025) for the 2024-25 financial year, Arsenal FC (Premier League) posted revenues nearly twice as high as those of Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports, €416m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their 2025-26 Champions League semi-final at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano (70,460 capacity) on Wednesday 29/04/2026 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

In 2024-25, the English club's wage bill stood at £346.8m (€411.7m), compared with €279.9m for their rivals. At the end of that financial year, Arsenal posted a net deficit of £1.4m (-€1.6m), while the Spanish club posted a loss of €5.99m.

At the end of that same 2024-25 season, the Gunners, Champions League semi-finalists, and the Colchoneros, who were eliminated in the competition's Round of 16, received €117m and €85m respectively from UEFA for their European campaign.
