Borussia Dortmund: the BVB Evonik Japan Tour organised from 26/07 to 02/08/2026

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) will organise a summer tour in Japan from 26/07 to 02/08/2026, the club announced on 30/04/2026.

The "BVB Evonik Japan Tour" is named after the German group Evonik Industries, a chemical company and “champion partner” of the club.

BVB, which previously travelled to Tokyo in 2015 and 2017 and to Osaka in 2024, will play two friendly matches:
• on 29/07 against Cerezo Osaka (Meiji Yasuda J1 League) - a partner club of Borussia Dortmund - at Yanmar Hanasaka Stadium (50,000 capacity) in Osaka;
• on 01/08 against FC Tokyo (Meiji Yasuda J1 League) at Japan National Stadium in Tokyo (67,750 capacity).

The tour is organised "in coordination with the DFL" and with several club partners, including Puma (kit supplier), Vodafone (telecoms), Rowe (motor oils), Topps (trading cards) and the Japanese group SCO Group (technology).

Further information regarding the tour, ticketing and related activities will be communicated "in mid-May."
