Spain: LALIGA+ streaming platform to close after 10 years on 30/06/2026

LALIGA will close its LALIGA+ streaming platform on 30/06/2026, the Spanish league announced on 04/05/2026.

The service will thus cease broadcasting after nearly 10 years of activity. Among the competitions broadcast on LALIGA+ are the Primera División de Fútbol Sala (D1 futsal), the Spanish Basketball Cup, the Liga Nexus Energia Asobal and the CEV Champions League.

"The evolution of the audiovisual market and changes in consumer habits have created a new context in which the OTT platform has fulfilled its cycle and purpose within LALIGA's audiovisual strategy. This decision responds to a future-oriented strategic vision aimed at continuing to connect with audiences wherever they are," the League said. LALIGA added that the platform will be avalaible free of charge in June.

LALIGA+ offers two subscription packages for the 2025-26 season: Multideporte (€10.99 per month, with a selection of competitions) and Plus Total (€14.99 per month, all competitions).
