EPCR/United Kingdom: ITV acquires free-to-air TV rights to the 2025-26 European Cup finals

The private free-TV group ITV has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights to the 2025-26 Investec Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals in the United Kingdom, European Professional Club Rugby announced on 03/05/2026.

The Challenge Cup final will see Montpellier Hérault Rugby (Top 14) take on Ulster Rugby (BKT United Rugby Championship) on Friday 22/05, while the Champions Cup final will see Union Bordeaux Bègles Rugby (Top 14) face Leinster Rugby (BKT United Rugby Championship) the following day. Both matches will be played at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao (ESP).

The broadcasting rights for both competitions in the United Kingdom are held by the pay-TV group Premier Sports. The group broadcasts the entire Investec Champions Cup, as well as two games per matchday during the group stage, and all Challenge Cup matches from the quarter-finals onwards.
