Spain: Liga F matches included in sports betting offerings by royal decree

"La Liga F welcomes the Spanish government’s adoption of a royal decree that permanently includes matches from the Spanish women’s football top flight in La Quiniela (the sports betting pool operated by the Spanish National Lottery), a significant step that strengthens the institutional recognition of women’s football in Spain and consolidates its growth and professionalisation process," the Spanish professional women's football league announced on 05/05/2026.

"This measure, which provides for the inclusion of Liga F Moeve games on each matchday, is a structural step forward for equality, enabling women’s football to establish a lasting presence within one of the most iconic products of the Spanish football ecosystem," Liga F added.
