Sponsorship: after LALIGA, Polymarket (prediction) also partners with Serie A in the United States

Lega Serie A has become the second European sports league to partner with Polymarket, a blockchain-based prediction platform that allows users to bet on future events, on 14 May 2026. This multi-year agreement covers the United States.

The Italian league, which opened an office in New York in January 2022, has partnered with the platform one and a half months after LALIGA announced a similar agreement (also covering Canada) on 02 April 2026.

Under the partnership, Polymarket will benefit from visibility across Serie A’s media assets and will deploy "digital and social programming" for supporters. "Markets will be powered by official Serie A data, with data services provided by Genius Sports," the British data management services company and official sports betting data partner of Lega Serie A for four seasons until 2029, "delivering enhanced accuracy, transparency, and integrity across all Serie A offerings on the platform."
