Bayer 04 Leverkusen: construction of a “Talent House” for 36 young athletes aged 14 to 18

Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) will build a “Haus der Talente” (“Talent House”) in order to "prepare young talents in a more systematic way for a potential sporting career and develop their academic, social and personal skills," the club announced on 19 May 2026.

The project includes the construction of a dedicated facility close to the city centre, with delivery scheduled for summer 2027. The site will be operated in partnership with TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen athletics club.

The Talent House is expected to accommodate 36 athletes aged between 14 and 18 once the site opens, on a surface area of more than 9,000 square metres. Bayer 04 has also been in contact with the future neighbours of the project "for almost three years" as part of the development process, which included five public meetings before planning permission was granted.
