"LALIGA is currently evaluating potential strategic collaboration opportunities with Bitkernel in the areas of digital streaming infrastructure, next-generation OTT ecosystems, and fan engagement innovation," the Spanish league said on 19 May 2026.

BitKernel Group, an American company specialising in cloud-based technologies and services, has partenered with LALIGA and pay-TV groups DirecTV Latin America and Sky Brasil to fight audiovisual piracy in Latin America and "the rest of the world," on March 2026.

The Austin, Texas-based company owns the Goose platform, which "provides scalable next-generation video solutions for sports organizations, media platforms, and operators," according to LALIGA.

"As mobile internet usage and younger audiences’ content consumption habits continue evolving, video-centric digital sports ecosystems are gradually becoming an important direction for the future development of the global football industry," LALIGA added.
