2026 World Cup: Visa launches “Tap In” campaign featuring Erling Haaland and Lamine Yamal

Visa, an American group specialised in payment solutions and global partner of FIFA, has launched the "Tap In" campaign ("tap in" defining an easy finish in football) for the 2026 World Cup, on 18 May 2026.

As part of this activation, Visa cardholders in the United States and Canada can register to enter the 'Tap In to Score1' promotion with the chance to win tickets to World Cup matches, signed memorabilia, limited-edition merchandise and a potential trip to the Final. Visa cardholders in Mexico can also register to enter the "Pásala Para Ganar2" promotion for a chance to win tickets to a World Cup match.

FIFA's partner will deploy the campaign across a range of channels (television, social media, digital) and will also use content creators to promote it. The "Tap In" campaign has been launched with an advertising film starring American actor Jason Sudeikis and also involving professional players Lamine Yamal (ESP) and Erling Haaland (NOR).

Visa has also committed, via the "Tap In to Impact" initiative, to donating $600,000 to three nonprofit partners in each host country. "These…
