Premier League: Sky Deutschland extends its TV rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland until 2031

Sky Deutschland has extended its exclusive full German-language broadcasting rights to the Premier League for the DACH region for the 2028-2031 period (three seasons), the pay-TV operator announced on 20 May 2026.

The previous extension, dated 08 February 2024, covers the current 2025-2028 cycle. However, these rights are non-exclusive in Switzerland for the current period, as the Canal+ group broadcasts the English league in French for this territory.

Sky Deutschland has held the rights to broadcast the Premier League in the DACH region since 2019. These rights were previously held by the OTT platform DAZN for the 2016-2019 cycle.
