FC Barcelona: Emirates Islamic (bank) regional partner in the United Arab Emirates until 2027-28

Emirates Islamic has become a regional partner of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) in the United Arab Emirates for two seasons (2026-27 and 2027-28), the club announced on 20 May 2026.

The financial institution has therefore acquired the status of "Official Commercial Banking Partner" in this territory. The Catalan club already has two other regional banking partners: Maybank in Malaysia and Singapore until 2026-27, and Scotiabank in Canada and 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean until the end of the 2025-26 season.

As part of the agreement, Emirates Islamic will launch the “Emirates Islamic Barça Cashback Card”, a credit card offering a rewards programme to customers, including cashback of up to 4% on spending related to sports, fuel, supermarkets and dining. Cardholders will also benefit from exclusive FC Barcelona-related advantages, including match tickets and official merchandise.

• The club counts "1.7 million supporters in the country, representing more than 20% of the total population of the United Arab Emirates," according to FC Barcelona.
