2026 World Cup/Spain: a “Plaza Selección” in Madrid, “Casas España” in the USA and Mexico

"Spain’s federation will transform Plaza de Colón in Madrid (ESP) into a major gathering place for national team supporters. Under the name ”Plaza Selección,” a spectacular venue will be set up where fans will be able to watch Spain’s matches live during the World Cup and experience the tournament collectively around the national team," the RFEF announced on 21 May 2026.

"In addition, the stadiums hosting Spain’s matches in the United States and Mexico will also feature ”Casas España,” gathering places for supporters," the Spanish football federation added.

Spain will face Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia in Atlanta (Georgia, USA), before taking on Uruguay in Guadalajara (MEX) in Group H of the 2026 World Cup (full schedule below).

• Spain coach Luis de la Fuente will announce the list of 26 players selected to take part in the 2026 World Cup On Monday 25 May 2026 (12:30 CET).
• Two friendlies are scheduled:
  • Against Iraq in La Coruña (ESP) on 04 June 2026.
  • Against Peru in Puebla (MEX) on 08 June 2026.
