Stade Rennais FC: Nicolas de Tavernost (ex-LFP Media) appointed president of the board

Nicolas de Tavernost, outgoing CEO of LFP Media, has been appointed president of the board of Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's) as Guillaume Cerutti "steps down from his position," the club announced on 22 May 2026. According to french media Le Figaro, Nicolas de Tavernost is expected to take up his duties on 01 June.

"A leading figure in the French media landscape, Nicolas de Tavernost built his career around the structuring and development of major media groups, notably at the head of the M6 Group, which he led for nearly forty years. Former vice-president of CMA Média, Nicolas de Tavernost oversaw the launch of Ligue 1+ one year ago," the club owned by the Pinault family (through its holding company Artémis) said.

"He also has extensive knowledge of professional football, having supported FC Girondins de Bordeaux through M6 between 1999 and 2018," the club added.

Nicolas de Tavernost will lead Stade Rennais FC alongside Arnaud Pouille, who has served as executive president since 04/10/2024.
