PSG: Bertrand Paquette (ex-Paris 2024 & Euro 2016) appointed director of competitions and event planning

Bertrand Paquette, former event and venue management director at the Paris 2024 Organising Committee, has been appointed director of competitions and event planning at Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's), he announced on LinkedIn on 27 May 2026.

The French executive already has experience within several football-related organisations. He notably served as head of the international events department at the French Football Federation (FFF), country manager for UEFA Euro 2016 in France, and tournament director of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, also held in France.
