Germany/DFB: partnership with Targobank extended to the men’s national teams (2026-2030)

The German bank Targobank has extended its agreement as an official partner of the Deutscher Fussball Bund for four additional seasons (2026-2030), the federation announced on 28 May 2026.

The company, owned by Crédit Mutuel and already a partner of the federation as the official bank of the DFB-Pokal since 2012 (annual deal estimated at €4m per season), is extending its partnership to the men’s national team, the U21 national team, the futsal national team and the Google Pixel Women’s Supercup.

Targobank remains at the second level of the DFB’s sponsorship hierarchy and also continues as a partner of the women’s national team through its subsidiary OLB, under an agreement that will be extended from 2027-28 to the women’s U20 and U23 national teams.

The German federation is therefore welcoming a new banking sponsor for its men’s national teams following the expiry of its partnership with Commerzbank, which ended after the 2023-24 season following 16 seasons (beginning in 2008-09), under a deal estimated at €2.5m per year.
