NBA: Nike to be the official sports equipment supplier to the league (2016-17 to 2025-26) for €889m

The American brand Nike will become the official sports equipment supplier of the NBA for the 2017-18 season through to 2025-26, the NBA announced on 10/06/2015. The contract is estimated at $1bn (€889m) by American media, or $111m (€98.8m) per season.

Nike will replace the German sports equipment brand adidas, a partner of the NBA since 2006...
